									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Some time ago, I sent away to Cook County for Grandma Flo&#8217;s birth certificate.  That was on June 4, 2026.  The cert arrived today, September 2, 2026.  It confirms what we know but adds more detail.  Grandma Flo was born in Saint Joseph Hospital which is now Oz Zoo on North side near Lincoln Park zoo. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A newspaper this week (you know those paper wraps that are bound with a rubber band and thrown onto your driveway) posted a photograph from 1900 of a steam locomotive and crew.  This reminded me of Michael Mast who was a traveling engineer back then.  I emailed the following to my sisters and figured your might like it too.</p>

Muzzie (Grandma Flo&#8217;s grandmother), Grandma Angeline (Grandma Flo&#8217;s mother), Aunt Flo (Uncle Henry&#8217;s wife), and some of her siblings (Richard, Larry, Agnes, Marie). 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>9942 S. Seeley Ave.  Grandma Flo grew up in this house from 1931 (when it was built) until 1943.  The house was next door to Uncle Henry and Aunt Flo.  </p>
<p>The house to the right is Uncle Henry and Aunt Flo&#8217;s.  Grandma Flo spent lots of time with Aunt Flo for whom she was named after.</p>
